Thank you, Citizens of Midlothian

To each of the citizens who voted for me, I express a sincere "Thank You" for your vote of confidence.  While we didn't win the seat, we were instrumental in getting a near-record turnout.  We need to support Jamie as our new council member, and work together for a better Midlothian.

To each of the citizens who voted for Jamie, thank you for taking the time to vote.  It is a privilege that should not be taken lightly, and I thank you for being a part of our electoral process.

To the citizens who didn't vote, I ask you to consider how important our government is, and how many people in the world risk their lives to vote, while we often take that right for granted.

To Jamie, I congratulate you on your win.  We have many common points, and I trust you'll stand your ground and represent us as an independently thinking council member who listens to your constituents.
